Contemplatives in action, activists at prayer

The Gospel calls us to love one another, as we love ourselves and as God loves us. What might it mean for us to root our service to others in a deeper sense of God’s love and personal peace?

Learn more about what the Ignatian tradition has to say about being a “contemplative in action”. Find fresh ways to nourish and shape your community and justice work through a renewed and practical spirituality. Discover that activism and reflection go well together as we develop an everyday practice of seeking wisdom and refreshment.

A day for anyone involved in community ministries or social justice work to make time for God and themselves at the start of a busy autumn term.

The day will include space for individual reflections

The cost of £20 includes coffee and pastries on arrival, a sandwich lunch and afternoon pot of tea and cake. Kindly email retreats@rfsk.org.uk with any dietary requirements you would like us to be aware of at least one week before the event.
