Exploring Soul and the City. A quiet day with Brian Draper
Within the maelstrom of contemporary life, when more of us than ever live within the urban environment, how do we rediscover our ‘soul’ – and start to live and work more soulfully (especially for such a time as this!)?
In this gently evocative and soulfully spacious  quiet day, Brian Draper will interweave guided reflection with teaching, times for stillness, personal reflection and the sharing of wisdom as a group.
We’ll ask how we can make space for our soul to stir, and we’ll seek to give it the space to breathe throughout the day! And we’ll ask what it means when we do reconnect with, and recover, our soul – what happens we come alive within such a busy world? How can we relate more deeply – as soul calls to soul – to God, each other, ourselves and to the world around us? How can we live with greater poise and with less stress? And as we seek to build a better society, community, what does the creative overflow of the soul look like, through our life’s work, through our unique creativity and our compassionate action..? How can we make the difference that only we can make in the world?
