Message from Ugne:
“My name is Ugne, originally from Lithuania and currently studying music at Middlesex University. Performing is a huge part of my life. Since I was four-years-old, I’ve been surrounded by musicians and my main goal is to become a professional singer. A few years ago I performed my first solo concert in Lithuania – one of my biggest dreams had actually came true. This time I am here in London, looking forward to my second solo concert!
“MUSIC & US” will be a classical and popular music concert which is a part of my University dissertation. I am going to perform together with my friends: pianists – Joann Ng, Sotia Panayiotou and Vivek Pal, violinist – Merwyn Fernandes and guitarist – Vidunas Tutkus. The main focus is to break boundaries between the afore mentioned genres and just enjoy music as it is. The performance will take place on Friday 13th April, 7pm in the amazing chapel of the Royal Foundation of St. Katherine. It is no secret that I am currently also working as a barista in the Yurt Café which is an integral part of the foundation, so I can guarantee that there’s going to be a great vibe and you will meet wonderful people!
